Post-Coronavirus Urban Economies

I’m writing to share some of my recent material on post-coronavirus urban economies.

In line with my previous writings on how Heartland states need to better optimize the geographic disposition of their knowledge economy assets, I have an op-ed in the Indianapolis Business Journal suggesting that Purdue University should open a major research center in downtown Indianapolis.

My American Enterprise Institute panel with Ed Glaeser, et. al. is now also available online. It’s an hour and a very interesting discussion.

And my panel with the Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce is also online. The first half of this is a now-dated update on the coronavirus situation in Wisconsin, so you’ll need to skip about 30 minutes in to when the panel starts.
